Abdominal wheel

As part of Observation course we were assigned a brief a to reseach and design 
sport equipment of our choice. my love of transportation design lead me to chose an abdominal wheel. in my research i found it`s an extremely hard exercise to master. 
I decided to change that.

After talking to a few trainers i found out there was a direct relation between the size and width of the wheel to the ease of its use. the larger the wheel the easier it was for begginers to use.

During the form exploration I experimentedwith different shapes of my wheel concept that contained 3 wheels in one that allowed the user to have 3 different levels of difficulty to go from big and easy to small and extreme.

The final Model was created using a solidworks model and 3d printing.after printing each part was carfully sanded, glued in place, primered and painted. Then came the 140 laser cut orange perspex peices.

The Recuroll is a first of its kind abwheel that features 3 levels of difficulty. Competing abwheels in this category are notoriously hard to use & master however, the Recuroll alows beginners to start with the largest and easiest wheel size in the market
